PHILADELPHIA, P.A. - A building collapsed killing 6 people. At first, it was reported that the building was very old, but we found out later that it was allegedly the act of a stoned equipment operator.
Investigators say that 42 year old Sean Benschop was operating an excavator while high on marijuana and painkillers, and caused a wall to fall down onto a Salvation Army next door, killing 6 people.
Benschop's attorney says that his client was not high at the time of the collapse and that he is innocent.
The inspector for the construction site, Ronald Wagenhoffer, committed suicide. His last words before the fatal gunshot wound to the chest were in a video he recorded on his phone. "It wasn't my fault," the video says, according to the mayor's office.
