Attention New Jersey! If you haven't already eaten your Halloween candy during a power outage from Hurricane Sandy, try to keep it just a few more days.
NJ Gov. Chris Christie released an executive order today that Halloween is to be postponed until Monday, November 5th.
This coming after Hurricane Sandy moved through our area the night of Monday, October 29th, and many parts of New Jersey are not ready to support driving, let alone trick-or-treaters, and many people are still without power at this hour.
Christie said, "Halloween is not going to happen tomorrow. I don't want kids to be disappointed. I will reset the by executive order. I hope towns will observe the date. I will announce it tomorrow."
