SPRINGFIELD, NJ -
Angry customers flew to social media in the past few weeks to allege The Puppy Barn in Springfield sold them sick puppies. Several puppies have come down with Canine parvovirus, a highly contagious and potentially deadly disease.
A January 30th inspection was deemed unsatisfactory, and the barn was temporarily closed. After further investigation, the store has closed for good.
The Burlington County SPCA posted on their Facebook, “This is still an ongoing SPCA investigation. We cannot disclose any information at this time. We would like everyone to know that when the puppies are removed by the Burlington county health department and transported to the Burlington county animal shelter, we will continue to monitor their care to ensure their health and well-being.”
