According to a Press Release from the troop on Thursday, November 8th, Crosswicks Boy Scout Troop 55 will be 'Scouting for Food' in Chesterfield, Crosswicks, and Sykesville on Saturday, November 17th.
They are asking that you "[leave] donations of canned goods, bottled goods (glass or plastic, powdered goods and baby formula out on your porch" or by the front door on the 17th by 8am in the bags that the scouts will leave on Saturday the 10th. (Text quoted from the press release)
All items donated by the scouts will be donated to food pantries in the community.
The Boy Scouts meet Wednesdays, 7pm, at the Crosswicks Community House.
