BURLINGTON TWP, NJ -
The Burlington County Times is reporting that the 35 year old Burlington Center Mall might not be open long into 2018.
The Times reports “Mayor Brian Carlin and Township Administrator Walt Corter said the owners contacted the county’s building code inspectors to inquire about what steps they need to take to close the building."
Moonbeam Capital Investments, based in Las Vegas, owns the mall, and to employees of the just 6 remaining stores, it is obvious they want to close the building. One anonymous employee told the Times “Communications with [mall] management is almost nonexistent... Parts of the building are in disrepair, and there’s yellow tape across the front entrance.”
