TRENTON, NJ -
Over a thousand people marched in Trenton this past weekend for the “March for Science”, which also was to speak out against President Trump’s policies.
Participants began at the war memorial, walked through the downtown streets, and ended at the New Jersey State House Annex.
Many speakers came to talk about progressive changes and oppose the Trump Administration's actions, or inactions, regarding environmental protection, something President Trump has called a hoax in the past. One speaker asked to call for an official climate change plan while other marchers took on a visual route, carrying signs and wearing shirts in support of fighting climate change.
Trenton was not the only city to march; many larger cities across the country and world marched and made similar speeches.
