Story: Ben Wolverton
CHESTERFIELD, NJ -
The Burlington County ASPCA released security camera footage a few months ago of a dog being abandoned at Chesterfield Kennels in Chesterfield, NJ.
The owner entered the parking lot, let the dog out of the trunk, and sped off, leaving the dog behind. Using the footage provided by Chesterfield Kennels, the ASPCA, along with Chesterfield Police, recently identified the owner and fined them $2,000. They also received a 2 year ban from owning an animal.
The dog, now named Chester, was adopted shortly after he was abandoned.
