CHESTERFIELD, NJ -
According to the Burlington County Engineer's Office, a roundabout will be built on the intersection of County Route 528 & Old York Rd (CR 660).
Quoting from the official release from the engineer's office, "Road work is expected to commence by March 15th and be completed by early August 2014."
It goes on to say that the road will be closed for 35 days in which a detour will be implimented, and that will happen sometime in June after the 2013-2014 school year is done.
They say in the release that all driveways and business driveways will remain open to the public during the closure.
Construction of roundabout is being funded by the Federal Highway Administration and the New Jersey Department of Transportation, and they say since there are no traffic signals to maintain, it will save taxpayers approximately $5,000 a year.
