TRENTON, NJ -
In a Monday afternoon press conference, the Trenton Thunder have announced they will host the Eastern League All Star Game in 2018.
The All Star Game will come during the Thunder's 25th season, which Thunder General Manager Jeff Hurley promises will be "one of the most special seasons of [their] history."
In addition to the milestone of 25 seasons, 2018 will also bring the Eastern League Al Star Game to ARM & HAMMER Park. "I'm thrilled that we can bring this terrific event to our great fans and partners of the Trenton Thunder," Hurley continued.
Mercer County Executive Brian Hughes was also in attendance today. "I'm just thrilled with the announcement," he said. "I can tell you that we're going to do everything we can to make sure this park looks fantastic, it's ready and willing, and able to go for the 2018 All Star Game."
Thunder Managing Partner Joe Finley spoke on the wonderful relationship Trenton Thunder and ARM & HAMMER Park has with the Mercer County Parks. "We couldn't have a better public-private partnership than Mercer County."
